Requirements of the role:
* Experience in Legal/Legal Secretary, Cashier, Finance or Assistant roles.
* An understanding of Financial Accounting and Bookkeeping principles and practices.
* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent organisation skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Responsibilities of the role:
* Processing all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and a sufficient audit trail.
* Raising and issuing invoices, payments etc.
* Monitoring ledgers and preparing financial reports.
* Maintaining up-to-date records of payments, receipts, client balances and debt collection.
* Answering financial queries in a professional and friendly manner.
* Providing support to the Finance Manager.
