Wellies Ltd is one of the UK's leading retailers of Wellington boots and outdoor footwear. We're a fast-growing, friendly business that prides itself on great service and quick delivery. We're now looking for a versatile person who can perform customer service, order processing and warehouse operations.
The Role
This is a mixed role covering customer service, order processing, and warehouse/stock movement. You'll be helping customers one minute and helping move stock or driving the van the next, so you'll need to be comfortable switching between desk and physical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to customer enquiries via email, phone and online chat
* Process orders, returns and exchanges accurately
* Handle refunds, customer account admin and system updates
* Move bulk stock between our storage containers and main unit
* Assist with goods-in, picking, packing and restocking
* Drive our Luton van for local runs (no special licence needed)
* Keep the workspace tidy and organised
* Deliver a friendly, positive customer experience at all times
What We're Looking For
* Confident, competent driver (comfortable driving a Luton van)
* Physically fit – able to move boxes, unload deliveries and work around storage containers
* Good communication skills and customer-first attitude
* Strong attention to detail
* Comfortable using computers and online systems
* Experience in customer service, retail, e-commerce or warehouse work (preferred)
* Reliable, organised and able to work independently
Job Spec
* This is a 4 on, 4 off, continental style shift pattern, so you will be expected to be available 7 days a week including weekends and bank holidays (excluding Christmas day)
* You will be working from our location in Shaw, Oldham
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £18,888.87 per year
Expected hours: 29.75 per week
