We’re working with a well-established client in Christchurch who is looking for an experienced and certified Scaffolder to join their team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a range of ongoing construction and industrial projects across the Canterbury region.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Erecting, maintaining, and dismantling scaffolding systems in line with NZ standards and site safety protocols
* Inspecting equipment regularly and carrying out basic maintenance or repairs as needed
* Collaborating with site teams to ensure scaffold placement meets project requirements
* Identifying potential risks and actively contributing to a safe and compliant worksite
* Following all health and safety procedures, and participating in regular site briefings
What We’re Looking For:
* NZ-recognized Scaffolding Certificate or License
* At least 2 years of hands-on scaffolding experience, ideally within commercial or industrial construction
* Solid understanding of scaffolding safety practices and site compliance
* Ability to interpret scaffold plans and technical drawings
* A team-focused mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
