Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a General Builder / Labourer, initially based in Guildford, but covering various sites across Surrey and West Sussex. The person will be responsible for performing various construction tasks including preparing construction sites, loading and unloading materials, assembling and dismantling structures, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The role also involves assisting other tradespeople, using hand and power tools, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
* Experience in general construction, including site preparation, and material handling
* Knowledge and proficiency in using hand and power tools
* Ability to operate construction machinery and equipment safely
* Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations
* Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Experience in residential construction is a plus
* Relevant certifications or training in construction-related fields are beneficial
