This role offers a competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £33,000, depending on experience. As a Credit Underwriter, you'll be responsible for:
* Assessing the risks of SME loan applications with objective and independent judgment.
* Ensuring compliance with Credit Policy, guidelines, and processes.
* Obtaining and reviewing credit information on businesses and Beneficial Owners.
* Conducting risk assessments considering lender guidelines and market trends.
* Adhering to AML, KYC, and KYB policies.
* Working within agreed timelines for credit proposals and reviews.
* Coordinating effectively with colleagues across various teams.
