As part of DCC’s procurement transformation, DCC is creating Category Management and Sourcing teams. A Pricing Manager is required to report directly into the Procurement Director and works across Procurement, the other Commercial teams, Finance, and Programme Delivery teams.
What will you be doing?
* Leading the collaboration across the Commercial function, wider DCC, and up to C-Suite executives within and outside DCC to build optimal Green Book Treasury commercial business cases
* Responsible for financial modelling of all DCC’s 3rd party spend - £5bn over 10 years to guide identification of new strategic commercial initiatives and model Commercial Finance options to meet the needs of the business
* Build robust financial models to quantify and justify value for money delivered by Procurement initiatives
* Responsible to present business cases and delivered value for money on behalf of Commercial to programme leadership and wider DCC
* Responsible for design, maintenance and roll-out of Commercial / Financial modelling tools and analytics
* Own the DCC Spend Cube providing insights to Commercial teams and wider DCC stakeholders
What are we looking for?
* Experience leading commercial finance engagement on key contract negotiations.
* Understanding of regulated and a non-regulated procurement and sourcing environments. Ideally with reference to secure and critical national industries
* Being able to navigate and influence without power, in complex, secure and regulated environment, to drive change
* Being a dynamic, forward-thinking self-starter, who can drive performance and best-practice procurement within a changing and evolving environment
* Creation and implementation of complex commercial finance models covering multiyear and critical national industries. Incorporating key commercial and contractual requirements.
* Strong expertise in managing complex data analysis
* Ability to collect and analyse data based on a solid understanding of both internal and external data sources
