The role
To lead and manage the performance, compliance delivery of Gravesham's social housing and homeownership functions, including Income service, leasehold management, service charge recovery, Right to Buy, and complaints.
This role ensures income targets are met, systems are fully embedded and optimised, and services are delivered in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
You will play a critical role in shaping our Neighbourhood Service, supporting initiatives, and working closely with residents to improve complaint satisfaction and service outcomes.
To lead a multi-disciplinary team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure housing resources are maximised and service delivery is exceptional.
About you
You will have a proven leadership experience within a housing, homeownership, or income management environment along with:
Track record of improving performance and delivering measurable outcomes

A degree or equivalent qualification in housing, community development, social work, or related field- .
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social housing, or customer service roles, with a strong understanding of social housing issues- .
In depth understanding of Regulator of Social Housings Consumer Standards and relevant legislation (Housing Act, Equality Act, Data Protection- )
Strong understanding of housing legislation, particularly the consumer regulations- .
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline- s
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills- .
