Are you a creative and dedicated English Teacher looking for a new role this September? Teaching Personnel is working with a number of secondary schools across Derbyshire seeking an inspiring English specialist to join their teaching staff for the 2025/26 academic year.
Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT, we want to hear from passionate educators ready to engage learners and foster a love of language and literature.
The Role:
️ Deliver high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
Plan and teach engaging units in line with the national curriculum
Full-time and part-time positions available
Daily rate of £162 – £251, paid weekly
CPD opportunities available through Teaching Personnel’s training platform
Supportive schools and your own dedicated recruitment consultant
You Will Need:
QTS or QTLS (or pending for ECTs)
Recent experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
A passion for literature, language, and helping students succeed
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
