Salary: £31,478 to £34,383
Job Purpose
To design and develop accurate Business Intelligence reports to meet the requirements of departments and colleagues within the education establishment, translating information requirements into useful reporting. The role also involves developing a data dashboard using Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, deploy, and maintain business intelligence reporting to support improved quality, flexibility, and efficiency across the education establishment.
* Collaborate with staff to clarify and define information needs.
* Translate business requirements into technical specifications, leading to new or refined business solutions.
* Present consistent information through reports and visualisations to support decision-making.
* Develop and update technical documentation.
* Develop data dashboards using Power BI to monitor key metrics.
Role Requirements
* Fully conversant with Advanced Pro Suite and Power BI systems.
* Respond to requests accurately and promptly, delivering to deadlines.
* Identify opportunities for efficiencies and leaner processes through automation and implement appropriate systems.
* Build business solutions to streamline and automate key processes.
* Participate in professional development or training as required.

Qualifications & Attainments
* Level 2 Maths & English or equivalent – Essential
* Level 4 IT-related qualification – Desirable
Experience & Knowledge
* Experience in the Further Education sector – Essential
* Experience in a similar role or environment – Essential
* Proficiency in SQL, HTML, CSS, VB.net, C.net, ASP.net, EXT.net – Essential
* Proficiency in MS Visual Studio, SSRS, MS Access reporting – Essential
* Experience with Pro Suite and other education systems – Essential
* Experience using Power BI to create visual data information systems – Desirable
* Knowledge of Further Education funding rules – Desirable
