The MAFI Mission: Where Faith Meets Innovation
Since 1945, MAFI has been delivering help, hope, and healing to isolated communities, bridging the gap between despair and renewal. With a fleet of 116 aircraft, we connect the world’s most remote regions with medical care, disaster relief, education, and the message of Christ. Behind every flight is a strong engineering team—and that’s where you come in.
Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept It
You will lead the creation and embedding of a unified reliability engineering framework across MAF to boost aircraft availability, maintenance efficiency, and fleet safety. This involves identifying and managing data quality, analysing failure trends, and driving root cause investigations. You’ll work closely with others, influencing fleet standards and maintenance programs, streamlining reports, and guiding key personnel—helping turn data into smarter technical decisions. You will monitor and report on fleet-wide performance to meet regulatory standards, with occasional international travel (up to 2 weeks a year) to support MAF’s mission.
Location: Ashford - UK, or Cairns - Australia, other locations considered
