Responsibilities
will include:
1. Reconciling and processing credit card payments to customer agreements
2. Ensuring that all documentation is passed for scanning and providing cover if required
3. Validating cheque payments
4. Encoding cash & cheque payments to customer agreements
5. Performing a daily reconciliation of cash transactions processed versus transactions banked
6. Banking cheques to Walker Financials
7. Scanning supplier invoices
8. Resolving supplier queries in a timely manner, referring to senior resource where necessary
9. Reconciling supplier statements to ensure accuracy and integrity of profit & loss account
10. Updating Walker Financials with supplier transactions
11. Validating and encoding supplier invoices
12. Investigate and resolve internal customer queries received by both telephone and email
13. Adhering to ourmitment to Consumer Duty ensuring we put our customers' needs first and set higher and clearer standards of consumer protection
What we're looking for:
14. An interest or qualification (AAT) in finance/accounting would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be provided
15. Use of SAGE Accounts would be beneficial
16. Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel which is necessary
17. Independent; ability to operate effectively with minimal guidance
18. Well organised, goal orientated, able to meet deadlines and able to prioritise work
19. Ability to work to tight deadlines and to work well under pressure with several issues simultaneously
20. Excellentmunicator, confident in approaching other business areas
21. Keen attention to detail and advanced analytic skills
