Job Title: Structural Engineer Location: Aberdeen Sector: Residential, Commercial & Industrial Projects The Opportunity An excellent opportunity has arisen with a well-established engineering consultancy in Aberdeen for a talented Structural Engineer to join their experienced team. You'll be working across a variety of project types from residential developments to commercial and industrial structures delivering innovative engineering solutions from concept through to completion. Key Responsibilities Design and analyse structural systems for a range of building types Prepare detailed structural calculations and design reports Produce technical drawings, specifications and documentation Conduct structural inspections and assessments as required Work closely with architects, contractors and other consultants to deliver projects Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards and regulations Mentor and support junior staff and apprentices, helping to develop their skills Candidate Requirements BEng or MEng in Structural or Civil Engineering Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or actively working toward chartership Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in structural engineering, ideally in a consultancy setting Proficiency in structural analysis software (for example Tekla, Robot or similar) Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards Excellent technical writing, presentation and communication skills Valid UK driving licence Benefits & Perks £35,000 - £45,000 DOE Support for professional development and chartership progression Exposure to diverse and challenging projects with scope for growth Collaborative team environment with flexible working arrangements Competitive pension scheme and continuous learning opportunities How to Apply If you are a motivated Structural Engineer looking to advance your career and join a dynamic team in Aberdeen, please submit your CV to Iain Shanley
