ADHD/Autism Assessments - Psychiatrists
Compensation and Working Conditions
Pay: £225 - £350 per remote assessment (onsite supplement offered), Outside IR35
Location: Remote (In-Person available in Basingstoke or Canterbury)
Working Hours: Flexible Hours, Mon - Sun, 9 - 5pm
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive developmental histories and diagnostic assessments for ADHD and Autism
* Observe patients during sessions, ensuring a thorough yet compassionate clinical approach
* Review developmental history, reports and relevant collateral information within the assessment session
* Formulate diagnoses and provide clear, supportive feedback, including recommendations and signposting
* Produce high-quality diagnostic reports within 48 hours (admin support provided)
* Collaborate with the MDT where further information or follow-up is required
* Request onward referrals in line with NHS Trust/ICB protocols where clinically indicated
Qualifications
* GMC-registered Psychiatrist with a licence to practise
* Strong experience in ADHD and Autism assessments
* Up-to-date with appraisal and revalidation
* Confident working within structured assessment models remotely or in person
* Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care
* CCT in Psychiatry preferred (not essential)
