The practice is a proudly independent, RCVS-accredited small animal practice located in a highly desirable town in South East Wales. They are currently looking to recruit a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to work every Saturday from 8:30am to 1:00pm. This role offers the reassurance of no sole charge, with the successful candidate working alongside another experienced Veterinary Surgeon. Clinical duties will primarily involve consultations, with occasional involvement in wards depending on inpatient needs. The practice operates across two sites, with this role based at the main branch, where consultations and the majority of surgical procedures take place. Hospitalised patients are cared for on-site, with separate cat, dog, and small furry wards, ensuring a calm and stress-free environment for all patients. Facilities are modern and comprehensive, including an on-site laboratory for rapid diagnostics, as well as X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and dental equipment. The practice also offers hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, and acupuncture, providing a truly well-rounded clinical environment.
