We are looking to recruit a Senior Retrofit Energy Assessor/Retrofit Manager to join our Planned Hub, working with a social housing provider's Decarbonisation team located in their office in Cambridgeshire.
Your new role
As a Senior Retrofit Energy Assessor/Retrofit Manager, you'll be working to deliver the highest standards of service. You’ll be responsible for managing, coaching, and developing the team, maximising not only the individual but the team’s potential. Reporting to the Decarbonisation Manager, you’ll provide assistance in positively impacting themunities we work in, both during the life of the project and by helping to leave behind a sustainable legacy when the project ends. You will also provide key information about resident satisfaction and audit results on a regular basis.
You will oversee a range of PAS 2030/2035 retrofit schemes, including External Wall Insulation, Cavity Wall Insulation, Internal Wall Insulation, Windows, Loft Insulation, and Air Source Heat Pumps. Responsibilities include Retrofit assessments, air tightness testing, EPC, and modelling to aid in project delivery, with two direct reports. You will be the main point of contact for the Decarbonisation Division, ensuring PASpliance and quality assurance of external PAS consultants reviewing design specifications. Working closely with Contracts Managers, you will oversee and supervise a range of contracts from start to finish, including the preparation of the PAS2030/35 Plan. You will also ensure adherence to thepany’s HSEQ processes and policies, maintaining the highest standards.
• Preparation and management of PAS 2030/35pliance
• Providing project direction,pliance focus, and consistency across multiple schemes concurrently
• Undertake Retrofit assessments, EPC, Borescope surveys, and air tightness tests
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect works,pleting relevant checks required for each project
• Manage supply chainpliance strategy for each project
• Prepare and oversee all PAS2030/35 & MCS audits from accrediting bodies
• Ensure all systems are in place and works arepleted in accordance with thepany’s standards, behaviours, and values
• Understand and assess the entire fabric of a building,plete/interpret EPC ratings, and improve these through different retrofit methods
What you'll need to succeed
Candidates will have excellent customer service experience, ideally within a social housing environment, coupled with the ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships. Well-organised, you’ll have excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills with the aptitude tomunicate at all levels and will be IT literate. You must hold Retrofit Assessor, Coordinator, and testing qualifications and have at least 1 year of experience as a Retrofit Coordinator.
