Location: Poole Office (with regular site visits)
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000

We are looking for an experienced and driven Estimator to join our team. You will work closely with our Operations Managers and Contracts Managers, preparing competitive, accurate, and well-structured tender submissions for projects ranging from small works to multi-million-pound developments.
Key Responsibilities
Tendering & Pricing
Collaborate with Operations and Contracts Managers to produce complete and competitive tender returns.
Manage and process enquiries for projects up to £20m, ensuring submissions are on time and commercially viable.
Prepare detailed and accurate priced schedules, supported by clear methodologies.
Client & Project Engagement
Attend client sites to carry out surveys and gather project information.
Present tender bids for internal adjudication, ensuring clarity in pricing and scope.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Documentation & Compliance
Produce and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) from tender documents.
Review and clarify all contract and tender documentation to ensure a complete understanding of project requirements.
Ensure compliance with Ecosafe Group's quality, health & safety, and environmental policies.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven track record as an Estimator in the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.
Proficient in interpreting 2D and 3D drawings.
Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tenders and tight deadlines.
Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with a collaborative approach.
Desirable
HNC or higher in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
Previous experience pricing projects in social housing, planned maintenance, or refurbishment sectors.
