Mechanical Fitter / Sheet Metal Worker
We’re looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter / Sheet Metal Worker to join a leading Defence & Aviation client on a contract basis. Work on exciting helicopter maintenance and modification projects, both on and off-aircraft, in a highly regulated environment.
What you’ll do:
* Manufacture and assemble parts from sheet metal
* Carry out on and off-aircraft repairs
* Work closely with the design team to implement modifications
* Assist with hangar operations and aircraft movements
What we’re looking for:
* Experience with aerospace sheet metal work
* Ability to read mechanical drawings and work to tight tolerances
* Riveting and fabrication experience
* Flexible, reliable, and detail-focused
