SThree are looking for an experienced Financial Controller who can support financial reporting, strengthen our control environment, and provide meaningful insight that supports strategic decision‑making. This role is offered on a 9/10‑month fixed-term contract, running until the end of the year.

What you'll be doing
Produce insightful management reporting across Income Statement and Balance Sheet
Partner with the business as the lead finance contact for regional accounting matters
Review balance sheet accounts and highlight risks, opportunities and recommendations
Drive improvements across the internal control environment
Review and analyse variable costs such as commissions and bonuses
Lead on audit deliverables, working closely with our External Reporting team
Produce payroll reconciliations, journals and key accounting submissions
Support or lead group‑wide accounting initiatives
Collaborate closely with Finance Business Partners and other Finance Ops teams
What you'll bring
CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified Accountant or equivalent, or qualified by experience
Strong knowledge of financial and management reporting
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain finance to non‑finance stakeholders
Strong analytical skills with experience writing clear, meaningful commentary
Advanced Excel skills (desirable)
A proactive, detail‑driven approach
Ability to prioritise workload with minimal supervision
Strong problem‑solving skills and sound commercial awareness
