We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our well established and experienced team at Birchwood, Oldham. The service is a 16‑bed rehabilitation unit that supports both men and women from the Oldham area and the surrounding region. We specialize in helping people transition to independent community living after a lengthy hospital stay or specialist treatment. Our multidisciplinary team – including Registered Mental Health Nurses, support workers and activity providers – works collaboratively with community mental and physical health services to give patients the best chance of success.

Responsibilities
As part of a 24‑hour service, you will work in partnership with those we support, identifying personal goals, creatively offering opportunities and encouraging everyone to reach their full potential. Your role will include:
* Participation in clinical audits, acting as a Name Nurse and attending MDT reviews.
* Engagement in the CPA process and clinical supervision.
* Providing supervision to junior staff and mentoring student nurses.
* Advocating for patients and supporting the development of daily living skills.
Ideal Candidate
You are an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse who demonstrates leadership, remains calm and professional in challenging situations, and is passionate about recovery. A preceptor programme is available for newly qualified nurses.

Salary & Contract
* Salary: £33,945 to £39,247 (dependent on experience).
* Pay frequency: Annual.
