An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the Facilities Management department as a Building Support Officer. The position is for 1 full‑time equivalent (37 hours) per week on a Monday‑Friday pattern.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Building Support Supervisor for security, meeting room management, civic events, and reception duties.
* Ensure Health and Safety standards are maintained at the CEC main corporate building in Macclesfield.
* Provide basic IT support where required.
* Liaise with contractors to ensure buildings are opened and closed in accordance with corporate policy.
* Perform portering duties, such as delivering parcels to relevant departments and staff.
Qualifications
* Relevant experience in a similar role.
* Effective team player with strong communication skills.
* Flexible approach to work and confident dealing with all levels.
* Good computer skills.
