Rentokil Pest Control - Graduate Pest Control Technician
We are recruiting a Graduate Pest Control Technician to work across the Dumfries to Stranraer area. Full on‑the‑job training will be provided and no prior pest control experience is required.

Graduate Pest Control Technician Role
Your first 6–12 months will focus on covering a specific geographical area. Core responsibilities include:
* Inspecting premises for signs of pests and identifying potential risks
* Resolving pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest activity
* Advising customers on maintenance and hygiene
* Completing accurate reports after each visit
* Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a professional image
After 12–36 months, you may progress into one of the following career paths:
* Sales Surveyor
* Field Biologist
* Service Team Leader
* Key Account Manager
Requirements
* Minimum 2.2 degree in a science‑based subject (BSc, Social Science, etc.) or a BA in Business Management, Hospitality or Tourism
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong customer‑facing attitude and willingness to work hard
* Flexible working pattern to support business needs
* May be required to pass a DBS check, depending on the role applied for
