We are Systems, LLC, a leading manufacturer and designer of loading dock equipment. We continue to GROW and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization.
This role is within Systems' Manufacturing and Production group. A successful candidate is expected to:
1. Weld and assemble different pieces using handheld and robotic welding equipment, such as hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures; utilizing various materials (plate steel, sheet steel, structural steel, and tubing).
2. Prepare and complete manual and robotic welding work on materials by welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal.
Associate II, Welder Overview:
* Weld and assemble parts using handheld welding equipment and materials like steel and tubing.
* Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning of metals.
* Test and inspect welded components to ensure they meet specifications.
* Work from different specifications and shop orders.
* Use measuring tools such as rulers, squares, templates, and gauges.
* Operate cranes, hoists, and lift tables.
* Report machine damages and maintain equipment safety.
* Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions.
* Monitor and control robotic welding processes, perform programming, and troubleshoot issues.
* Inspect weld quality visually and provide feedback to supervisors or engineering teams.
* Perform other duties as assigned and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications:
* No minimum education required.
* At least 1 year of robotic welding experience.
* Knowledge of MIG welding, plasma cutting, and other methods.
* Preferred: Certification in robotic welding, experience with solid core wires, argon/oxygen gases, and 3-5 years in a robotic welding environment.
