Your new role
As the Medical Underwriting Service and Operations Lead, you'll take ownership of underwriting and servicing operations for both new and existing business. Your role will centre on improving processes, digitising the customer journey, and enhancing broker and client experiences. You'll work closely with the Team Manager and collaborate across departments including risk, systems, service delivery, and transformation. A key part of your remit will be driving automation and data-led improvements to ensure consistent, high-quality service.
You'll lead operational delivery, mentor team members, and act as a subject matter expert in medical underwriting. You'll also be responsible for managing compliance, monitoring performance metrics, and communicating progress to senior leadership.
