Maintenance Engineer (Multi Skilled)
Overview
Working in a modern facility that has seen high levels of investment in new machinery, working on various types of CNC machine tools and semi-automated assembly lines. This job offers a fantastic and challenging environment working alongside highly skilled engineers with a focus of setting high standards within the industry. A predominantly autonomous role with appealing shift pattern, overtime often available & a company bonus scheme.

BorgWarner Ltd, Roydsdale Way, Euroway Industrial Estate, Bradford, West Yorkshire, BD4 6SE
Shift Three-week rotating pattern working only 10 days from every 21, with no weekends, working 12 hours shifts:
1. Wk1 – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (Day shift 6am - 6pm)
2. Wk2 – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (Night shift 6pm – 6am)
3. WK3 - Monday, Tuesday (Day shift 6am - 6pm) Thursday, Friday (Night shift 6pm - 6am)
Following week revert to week 1 pattern.
Key Responsibilities
* To provide electrical and mechanical maintenance to a range of machinery including CNC lathes, CNC grinders, robotics, automated and semi-automated assembly equipment
* Reacting to urgent breakdowns reducing machine downtime to a minimum
* Servicing machines to a high standard
* Following TPM schedules to ensure all equipment is routinely serviced and inspected.
* Carry out continuous improvement activity with set objectives
* PLC Diagnosis – Predominantly Siemens S7 & TIA (Small amount of Allen Bradley)
* Vision systems – Cognex & Keyence
* Be involved with new equipment implementation projects
Knowledge & Experience
* Recognised Apprenticeship (electrical/mechanical)
* HNC (electrical/mechanical) Electrical installation experience, 18th edition qualification (preferred)
* Working knowledge of machine tool processes & fault diagnostics
* CNC diagnostics capability (Siemens, Fanuc, etc.)
* PC literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Windows & other general software (Excel, Word, SAP etc.)
* Has a strong focus on team goals, as well as individual commitments
