We’re looking for enthusiastic and committed Maths Teachers to deliver tailored tuition in Clifton and across the wider Nottinghamshire area.
About the Role
This rewarding role allows you to support students outside the classroom, delivering engaging maths tuition in learners’ homes or community venues. You’ll plan and deliver lessons that build confidence and skills in key areas such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality maths tuition (1:1 or small groups)
* Adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and abilities
* Break down complex concepts to boost understanding and confidence
* Provide constructive feedback after each session
* Follow safeguarding and child protection policies
What We’re Looking For
* Strong knowledge of the maths curriculum (KS2–KS4, and ideally GCSE)
* Experience supporting students with SEND and/or SEMH needs
* Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
* A patient, empathetic, and flexible teaching style
* Up-to-date safeguarding training
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
