Legal Assistant - Conveyancing (Part-Time) Worcester based with an anticipated balance of home and office working £13,760 - £14,485 per year 17.5 hours per week (preference of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) As a Legal Assistant you will be dealing with all aspects of property resales for the business. You will sit within the Conveyancing team which is a small team of 6 and this is apart of the wider legal services team. The main focus of the role will be to support the delivery of conveyancing services in line with legal obligations and the Group's policies. The role of Legal Assistant - Conveyancing will include: Communicating with different teams to request and gain information to then report this back to stakeholders and management Supporting and progressing administration tasks for the Conveyancing team which will include but not limited to post completion tasks, preparation of legal documents and preparing of leasehold information packs Supporting the timely processing of shared ownership affordability assessments Skills and experiences: Proven experience within a similar administrative role is essential Previous experience within a customer service focused admin role A working knowledge of housing regulations, legislation and current practice High accuracy with excellent attention to detail The ability to prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines Excellent communication skills with a good telephone manner Experience using Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook or similar Why work for us?
