Overview
The Morson Group are currently supporting M Group - Infrastructure (Morrison Water/ Z-Tech) in recruiting for numerous CompEx Electricians on a Permanent basis in the Greater Manchester and wider North West region to work on the United Utilities framework, with the successful candidates working on numerous sites (kept as local as possible) spanning from Gloucestershire up to Cumbria.

Responsibilities
* Carrying out a range of electrical installations and maintenance projects in hazardous areas, all in accordance with BS7671: 18th Edition and BS60079, whilst ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Working alongside our established team of experts, which means you will receive a wide range of industry help and support.
* This role is in our MEICA and capital maintenance team; our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services across the Group.
Requirements
* Experience of ATEX zones and hazardous areas.
* Working knowledge of a wide range of Ex protection concepts, including but not limited to: Ex d (flameproof), Ex e (Increased Safety) and Ex i (Intrinsic Safety).
* CompEx Ex01 – Ex04 (Gas & Vapours).
* Completed an NVQ Level 3 (Maintenance or Installation).
* 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations and City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection and Testing.
* Industrial experience.
* Preferably, CompEx Ex05 – Ex06 (Dust), PASMA, IPAFIOSH and CCNSG.
