Overview
We are seeking a Teacher of Science to join our team at Epsom and Ewell High School, part of Bourne Education Trust.
Our teachers are responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the class, ensuring equity of opportunity for all, achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct. All teachers are required to carry out the professional duties and responsibilities of a schoolteacher as defined by the Teachers’ Standards and set out in the current School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document.

Contract: Permanent, full-time (part-time applications welcome)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Teachers Main to Upper Pay Scale (Fringe - Surrey) £34,398 - £52,490

Key responsibilities
* Deliver the curriculum as relevant to the age and ability of the pupils, preparing and developing teaching materials, programmes and pastoral arrangements as appropriate
* Be accountable for the attainment, progress and outcomes of all pupils in your class/es, planning effectively to help pupils meet their potential
* Be aware of pupils’ capabilities, planning to meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and, where appropriate, lead SEN Support Arrangements
Requirements
* Commitment to the safeguarding of children
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Evidence of effective continuing professional development
* Experience in coordinating a subject
