GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Drama Teacher to join a vibrant school in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, nurture pupils’ creativity and confidence, and foster a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
As a Drama Teacher, you will:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver exciting Drama lessons across Key Stages.
* Encourage students to develop performance, teamwork, and communication skills.
* Inspire creativity, critical thinking, and confidence in every pupil.
* Support students in preparing for assessments, productions, and performances.
* Monitor and track pupil progress, providing feedback to support learning.
* Maintain high standards of classroom management, safeguarding, and child protection.
Requirements for the Drama Teacher role:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching Drama at school level.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the performing arts.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment, with any gaps explained.
