Principal People are seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to be part of a successful and established Residential Construction business that boast’s a strong retention rate and will provide you with an opportunity to work on Gold standard residential projects alongside an experienced team of multiple senior Health & Safety professionals. The role will give you full responsibility for managing health, safety and environmental standards across 10 live sites across Surrey and West Sussex, with the backing of an experienced group function.
This business is looking for a regional, predominantly site-based Health, Safety & Environmental professional that will have the autonomy and flexibility to make the role their own on a Hybrid basis.

37.5 Hour Working Week with Hybrid Working The role will include:
Acting as the regional lead for all HSE matters, reporting into the Group HSE Manager.
Supporting site teams through regular visits, coaching, inspections and audits.
Driving compliance with legislation and the group HSE management system.
Working closely with senior leadership to influence behaviours and improve safety
culture.
Delivering training, toolbox talks and supporting the regional training programme.
Managing accident/incident investigations and liaising with regulatory bodies where required.
Preparing reports, dashboards and performance data for the regional board. What we’re looking for:
NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
Previous experience in housebuilding or wider construction sectors.
