As part of their continued expansion, they are looking for a Project Manager to join their successful Residential Development team. You will be a core member of the team working on large multi-disciplinary strategic land residential development projects.
Our relationships with our Clients, Advisors, internal and external design team members and Contractors is critical to the success of our business. Accordingly, your ability to build relationships and to develop and maintain a collaborative team ethos amongst the parties to each project is crucial. Your experience will demonstrate that your personal and interpersonal skills are well developed in these areas and that you are already an effective communicator.
About the role
They are seeking a passionate high performing Project Manager who can demonstrate a flexible management skillset. Typical responsibilities will include:
Plan and successfully execute projects
Understand and interpret the scope of each project
Plan and agree project deliverables
Provide appropriate advice on the management of projects
Manage project information within a Common Data Environment
Manage procurement processes
Programme management
Risk and change management
Responsibility for establishing capital budget parameters
Administering industry standard contracts including the NEC4 suite of contracts
Understand and implement quality management processes
Using IT system to maximise services delivery
Going forward you will also have the opportunity to support a diverse portfolio of projects in different sectors, other than residential.
About you
You will be able to demonstrate experience of how you have managed projects to deliver client’s requirements to programme, budget and required quality standards.
Experience of having worked on highway, drainage and/or utility infrastructure projects, ideally in the residential sector, would be advantageous.
Experience of managing the project requirements of key stakeholders such as Council Highway Authorities, Local Councils, water companies, utility companies, Environment Agency, Natural England and/or National Highways to deliver developments would be beneficial.
Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate:
Experience working on complex infrastructure projects
PMQ Accredited preferably
NEC 3/4 accredited preferably and experience with JCT form of contract
Suitability for security clearance, SC Cleared preferably
Past experience of managing multiple projects with a keen interest in developing skills in scheduling and project management
Strong communication skills including the ability to manage meetings with senior client representatives
A collaborative approach including managing large technical teams
Proven ability to deliver to deadlines
Able to work collaboratively with clients in order to deliver results
Professional and ethical in everything that you do
Able to identify and develop a phased approach to delivery, working collaboratively with the client to understand and agree the project requirements
Team player, able to deliver multiple projects to tight deadlines and to form effective relationships.
Determined approach to delivery
Good practical application of Microsoft Software, including Project, Excel and Word
Ability to prepare and implement a range of project tools including programmes, risk registers, Stakeholder Management Plans, Project Execution Plans and Quality Assurance Plans
Driving licence preferably
