Finance Director
* Duration: 7 month FTC
* Salary: £170k pro-rata
* Location: Holborn, London (hybrid)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Director to lead a dynamic and growing Finance function within a leading UK bank. This is a high-profile role, overseeing financial control, regulatory reporting, tax, accounts payable, operational finance, and risk management activities.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial and regulatory information to internal and external stakeholders, drive continuous improvement, and foster a strong culture of governance and performance.
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead all aspects of regulatory reporting, financial control, financial reporting, tax, and operational finance.
* Deliver accurate, timely information to senior leadership, the Board, regulators, and external markets.
* Drive process improvements through automation and system enhancements.
* Advise on prudential regulatory requirements and best practices.
* Support strategic initiatives alongside the CFO and senior leadership team.
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of around 30 colleagues.
* Represent Finance at key committees and internal forums.

* A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Significant experience in finance leadership roles within banking or entrepreneurial financial services.
