Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a further education college in Rotherham to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their inclusive and forward-thinking team.

The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of additional learning needs (including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH).
* Assist learners in accessing the curriculum and developing study, social, and life skills.
* Support teaching staff in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
* Help to implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and monitor progress.
* Encourage independence and promote confidence in learners across all areas of college life.

About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young people.
* Able to build positive and supportive relationships with students and staff.
* Experienced in supporting learners with additional needs (desirable but not essential).
* Confident in promoting positive behaviour and inclusive learning practices.
* Flexible and proactive in adapting to the needs of individual students.
Relevant experience in education, youth work, or care is highly valued — however, full training and ongoing support are provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
