We are looking for a confident, self-starter, Social Media Lead to take ownership of our social media presence and activity. This is a standalone role, responsible for the end-to-end management of all social channels—from strategy and planning through to execution and performance analysis.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in a trend led business, who thrives working independently, enjoys taking initiative, and is comfortable both behind and in front of the camera to create engaging, high-performing content.
Responsibilities
* Take full ownership of all social media channels (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest & You Tube), managing day-to-day activity independently
* Develop and deliver the social media strategy in line with brand and commercial objectives
* Plan, film, edit, and produce high-quality, engaging content across all channels, with a strong focus on short-form video (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
* Confidently appear on camera when required, contributing to employee-generated content and brand storytelling
* Lead the execution of campaigns, including product launches, promotions, and brand initiatives
* Stay ahead of trends in beauty and social media to keep our content fresh, relevant, and reactive
* Monitor platform updates and changes as well as competitor activity, proactively identifying opportunities
* Track, analyse, and report on performance, using insights to continuously optimise content and strategy
* Engage with followers, creators, and the beauty obsessed to build a strong and loyal online community, ensuring timely and on-brand responses
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Buying, E-commerce, and Creative teams to align messaging
* Manage relationships with external partners, influencers, and agencies where required
* Ensure consistency in brand tone of voice and visual identity across all social channels
About you
* Proven track record as an in-house Senior Social Media Executive or Lead Social Media Executive within high-growth beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands (this is not a freelance, agency-only, or hobby role)
* Demonstrable experience independently owning and growing social media channels with measurable impact on engagement, reach, and brand growth
* Exceptional creative ability with a strong instinct for visual storytelling, with filming, editing, and producing high-quality content as a core, day-to-day responsibility
* Advanced proficiency in content creation tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent professional editing platforms
* Deep, up-to-date understanding of platform-native content styles, algorithms, and best practices across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging channels
* Confident on-camera presence, with proven experience delivering engaging, personality-led or employee-generated content
* Outstanding copywriting ability with a natural flair for crafting sharp, engaging, and brand-consistent content that drives interaction
* Strong analytical capability, with experience using performance data to inform content strategy, optimise output, and drive continuous improvement
* Highly proactive, fast-moving, and exceptionally well-organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a trend-led, reactive environment
* Strong communicator with experience working cross-functionally and managing stakeholders in a fast-paced commercial setting
* Genuine passion for beauty and a strong awareness of digital, social, and influencer-led trends
