Estates Manager – Harrow Location: Barnet North London Position: Estates Manager Type of work: Covering Absent Teachers (All year groups), Contract or position starting date: ASAP Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm): Temporary (Adhoc) Full-time/part-time: Full-time Minimum rate of pay: £90- £100 Hours: 8 am – 3:30 pm or 4:00 pm (This can vary depending on school) The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for the leadership of the estates teams and estates management across multiple sites. Your key responsibilities as Trust Estates Manager are: ● To contribute to the development of the estate’s vision and strategy for the trust ● To ensure there are robust asset management and compliance systems for all school,s adhering to DfE Estates Standards and Good Estates Management for Schools ● To act as the H&S Responsible Officer for the schools ● To ensure that all buildings in the trust are managed efficiently and effectively – this includes optimising integrated building management systems ● To line manage the primary school site leads and work with the High School Operations Manager, supporting with performance management and the development of the site teams ● To update and implement risk assessments for all estates and facilities aspects across the Trust ● To procure and monitor the work of external contractors ● To be responsible for the project management of capital projects ● Work with the CFOO to support capital funding bids ● Work with schools to develop sustainability initiatives across the trust These accountabilities outline the main areas of the role; they are not a comprehensive list of tasks to be undertaken. Start Date: ASAP, hours per week, 52 weeks per year, permanent post Salary: £52,590 – £59,030 Holiday: 25 + bank holidays. Opportunity for an element of term-time holiday. The Trust office is located in Edgware As the Trust Estate Manager, you will have an operational and supervisory role, managing the academies’ site teams, focused on ensuring the safe, economic, and effective operation of all Trust buildings and grounds. Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving licence and own transport is a necessity
