The Digital Experience Engineer (DXE) is a hybrid role that combines technical development skills with marketing expertise to create seamless, data‑driven, and engaging customer experiences across all digital touchpoints.
Operating at the intersection of marketing, technology, and customer experience, the DXE is responsible for developing and optimising the organisation’s digital platforms, marketing technology stack, and customer engagement systems to drive growth, retention, and brand value.
Reporting into the Director of Marketing, Customer Experience and New Products, the Digital Experience Engineer is accountable for delivering high‑quality, scalable digital solutions that enhance the customer journey and support the company’s marketing objectives.
Working in collaboration with the Medical Marketing Manager and Regional Brand Leads, the DXE is also responsible for improving upon and continuing to evolve the company’s bespoke marketing technology stack.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain websites, landing pages, and interactive digital assets.
* Build responsive, accessible, and high‑performing user interfaces optimised for customer engagement.
* Implement personalisation features, dynamic content, and interactive tools to enhance the customer experience.
* Collaborate with UX/UI designers to bring creative concepts to life while ensuring scalability and usability.
* Act as the technical liaison for the marketing team, translating strategic goals into technical execution.
* Partner with product, sales, and customer success teams to align digital experiences with overall business goals.
* Provide training and mentorship to non‑technical colleagues on digital tools and platforms.
* Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA.
* Maintain accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) for all digital properties.
* Document and maintain technical processes, integrations, and system configurations.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Digital Marketing, Information Systems, or related field.
* 2‑4 years experience in a digital, technical marketing, or front‑end design role.
* Strong proficiency in PHP, MongoDB, and MySQL.
* Experience with Swift and Java is a bonus.
* Hands‑on experience with CMS platforms, CRM systems, and marketing automation tools.
* Solid understanding of SEO, UX principles, and analytics platforms such as GA4 and Google Tag Manager.

This position is based out of our Oxford office on a hybrid basis.
