Mobile Community Phlebotomist
£14,461.05 per year plus Commission, Overtime, Expenses and Benefits.
Part time, 20-hours per week.
Field Based - we only consider people who reside in Inverness, Raigmore, Culloden, Allanfearn, Newton of Petter, Ballock, Cradlehall.
Overview
Known internally as a Health Assessment Specialist at Bluecrest Wellness, you’ll play a vital part in helping people take control of their health and wellbeing. Every day you meet customers who rely on your support, reassurance and professionalism. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys variety, independence and satisfaction of delivering high‑quality care.
Responsibilities, Hours and Day‑to‑day
You will work two 10‑hour shifts per week, totalling 20 hours, with shifts scheduled between 6am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday. Your rota is created by our Resource Team and provided three weeks in advance. You may request two days off in a calendar month for personal reasons.
Travel is a regular part of the role. You may need to drive up to two hours to reach your venue (time outside your 10‑hour shift). For drives over 1.5 hours, paid accommodation and meal allowance will be provided. On occasion you may also travel by public transport.
During the day you will carry out a variety of health assessments such as PAD, ECG, Phlebotomy (post‑qualification), Lung Function, Body Composition and more. You will also offer guidance on further testing and keep administration up to date.
You are expected to greet up to 15–22 customers per day with appointment times ranging from 10 to 45 minutes, depending on the package.
Requirements and Skills
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
* Ability to travel up to two hours from your home location and overnight stays when required.
* Must be able to use computers, laptop, phone, tablet.
* Clear DBS required.
* Flexible availability any day Monday to Sunday between 6am and 10pm on a rota basis.
* Strong customer service, written and verbal communication, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
* Previous experience working with customers or selling products desirable.
* Experience with targets or KPIs desirable.
* Clinical experience and knowledge desirable.
* Willingness to learn, proactive and initiative-driven.
* Empathy, compassion and resilience.
* Ability to lift, carry and set up kit.
