As an Asset Management Property Assessor within our Asset Management team, you will play a key role in understanding the condition and performance of our housing stock. Based across our operating areas, this role focuses on carrying out detailed property and energy assessments to inform investment planning, ensure compliance, and support the delivery of safe, efficient homes. Through your expertise and attention to detail, you will directly influence the quality and safety of our homes—helping to improve customers’ living environments while supporting smarter, long-term decisions for our communities. What you'll be doing Carry out detailed property condition assessments in line with Curo’s stock condition programme, meeting agreed targets and timescales. Complete EPC assessments where required, identifying opportunities to improve energy efficiency and support sustainability investment. Conduct HHSRS assessments, identifying potential risks and escalating any safeguarding concerns appropriately. Capture property data with a high degree of accuracy and consistency, ensuring all information meets or exceeds data quality standards. Identify and report any areas of non-compliance with statutory requirements and Curo Home Standards to the relevant Property Safety teams. Perform pre- and post-inspections of customer-led improvement works, ensuring compliance with required standards and regulations. Oversee contractor performance where required, monitoring progress and quality to ensure works are delivered on time and to specification. Manage risk effectively during surveys and inspections, applying sound judgement and following Curo’s corporate risk approach. Record and maintain accurate property information, ensuring asset management systems are kept up to date and reliable. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to improve processes and maximise access to customers’ homes. Contribute to a high-quality, customer-focused service by supporting colleagues across the wider team. Support the development and continuous improvement of policies, processes, and systems, ensuring they remain compliant, effective, and aligned with best practice.
