Paradigm Consulting, an established and growing business have a new opening for an experienced Insurance Risk Surveyor. As we celebrate 20 years in business, we continue to grow while maintaining a strong, value-led company culture.
Geographic Coverage
We are currently recruiting surveyors nationwide across all areas of the country. Successful candidates will be assigned to surveys within a 2-hour radius of their home location.
About the Role
️ Managing your own workload of Property Insurance/Perils risk surveys.
️ Working primarily from home, traveling directly to client sites.
️ Managing and updating online portals to ensure information is recorded safely, promptly, and correctly.
️ Production of reports through online systems.
️ Carrying out safe and correct property surveys, efficiently and accurately.
️ Being a part of the surveying team in delivering a high-quality service.
️ Ensuring that workloads are handled in a professional and timely manner.
️ Building, maintaining and enhancing relationships with our clients.
️ Monthly travel to company HQ in Surrey for team integration and meetings.
Responsibilities of the Role
️ Working both independently and with other surveyors/admin team.
️ File and data management.
️ Managing travel requirements.
️ Diary management.
️ Carrying out tasks with skill, care, and diligence, in accordance with expected market and company standards.
️ Liaison with stakeholders.
What Skills Required?
️ Health & Safety - understanding the principles of risk and risk management.
️ Fire and Perils - examining plans, construction and fire protection systems to assess the risks to a building and its contents.
️ Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
️ A methodical approach to gathering information.
️ An assertive but tactful and persuasive manner.
️ Understanding of technical information and plans, and the ability to explain them clearly to non-experts.
️ Computer skills and proficiency in relevant software.
️ The ability to work alone and as part of a team.
️ Valid driving license for regular travel to site visits.
️ Previous experience in conducting Risk Surveys.
