Job Summary
Join the Occupational Health & Wellbeing service at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust as an Administrative Assistant. You will enable the multidisciplinary team to deliver timely, high‑quality care to NHS staff, supporting staff wellbeing, attendance and a positive working culture.
Main Duties
Provide efficient, confidential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the service. Act as the first point of contact for staff and key stakeholders, managing appointments, maintaining accurate records, coordinating correspondence, supporting data reporting and assisting clinicians and managers with day‑to‑day tasks.
Responsibilities
* Book, confirm and reschedule appointments.
* Maintain up‑to‑date client and staff records.
* Correspond with staff, clinicians and external partners.

Essential Qualifications
* Minimum GCSE in English Language or equivalent.
* RSA III word processing or equivalent.
* NVQ3 administration or relevant experience.
Desirable Qualifications
* ECDL or equivalent.
* NVQ or equivalent in Customer Care.
Essential Experience
* Previous reception or customer‑care experience.
* Experience with electronic patient information systems.
* Previous secretarial or administrative experience.
* Understanding of clinical governance and confidentiality.
Desirable Experience
* Knowledge of NHS guidelines.
* Previous NHS experience.
* Basic IT and keyboard skills.
* Knowledge of OH activity or electronic systems.
Essential Skills
* Handle sensitive information confidentially.
* Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, e‑mail and telephone.
