Overview
Our established manufacturing client has created a new role for a Stores Supervisor to lead their Main Stores Department and manage a small team of three.
Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor and motivate the team to ensure daily KPIs and work schedules are achieved.
* Receive stock from internal departments and external suppliers.
* Pick and kit jobs to support the manufacturing departments.
* Maintain full material traceability and stock location accuracy.
* Ensure daily and annual stock checks are completed on time.
* Provide daily performance updates and reports.
* Maintain a safe, tidy and organised Stores area in line with H&S standards.
Experience and Skills
* Previous stores experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Proven experience leading or supervising a team.
* Confident using ERP systems and general PC applications.
* Understanding of BOMs and production kitting processes.
* Hands-on approach with strong organisational skills.
* Forklift Truck (Counterbalance) licence required.
Benefits
* Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm, Friday: 7:30am - 12:00pm.
