Our team in Rotherham is looking for 3 Recovery Workers to provide high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group. You will be a compassionate and motivated individual, with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships. We’re looking for demonstrable experience working within health, social care, criminal justice, or other specialist settings, ideally with those with substance misuse issues. You will be highly organized, with excellent communication skills, and able to manage your time effectively, working as part of a team to ensure a high-quality service.

About the role
Our Recovery Workers support clients in identifying their goals, creating treatment plans, and guiding them on their recovery journey. This frontline role involves providing continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, key work responsibilities, and intervention delivery. You will manage an active caseload, connect quickly with clients, and ensure they are treated with respect and dignity.
What we’re looking for
We seek a compassionate, motivated individual with an ability to build meaningful relationships. Experience in health, social care, criminal justice, or a related setting, or a strong motivation to work in the drug and alcohol sector, is essential. Proven experience in providing reliable customer service is required.
You should be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and be capable of managing your time effectively. Collaboration within a team to maintain a high-quality service is vital. Above all, we want someone passionate about our work with a positive, engaging approach to clients and stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will:
* Have attained ONC/NVQ level 3 or be willing to achieve this within 12 months
* Have some experience in health, social care, or related settings
* Be able to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues
* Work effectively in a team, supporting others as needed
* Be resilient under pressure and able to prioritize your work
* Possess good oral and written communication skills
* Be comfortable using IT and digital media
* Be organized and able to manage your time effectively
* Be flexible with working hours occasionally
* Support other With You locations when needed
You must meet safeguarding requirements, including a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
This role requires working on a Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm on a rotational basis, with hours to be TOILed during the week.
