This is a rare opportunity for an expansion hire, after successfully hiring juniors over the last year.
The Litigation & Arbitration practice is ranked (Chambers and L500) for their high-end Commercial and Corporate Disputes exposure and currently co-headed by a partner within the shareholder litigation field and a market-leading arbitrator. The team is known for its high-end litigation work with clients in private equity, asset management, and tech, but also offers exposure to:
* shareholder disputes, contractual claims and unfair prejudice;
* HKIAC,ICC, LCIA, LMAA, UNCITRAL and SIAC arbitration;
* Civil fraud;
* Pro Bono & Corporate Responsibility projects;
* Technology litigation;
The firm boasts a standout advocacy presence, with team members who are qualified barristers or hold Higher Rights of Audience qualifications, enabling them to litigate high-profile cases. Additionally, the team distinguishes itself from other US firms by prioritizing pro bono and corporate responsibility work, having dedicated team members lead the pro bono practice, providing legal services to charities and NGOs.
Requirements:
* UK trained and qualified or Common Law Qualified with at least one year in London
* experience at top-ranked dispute practices
* between 5 and 6 years of post-qualification experience
* strong academics
