This is a high-impact role where you'll shape the employee experience by leading on complex ER matters, driving best practice, and ensuring that employment policies are not only compliant but also people-focused.
Sitting at the heart of the People team, you'll work closely with senior leaders to guide them through sensitive and high-profile employee relations issues, while also building capability across the organisation through coaching, policy development, and proactive culture initiatives.

The Role:
Lead and develop a small ER Advisory team, acting as the escalation point for complex and high-risk ER cases.
Provide expert advice to senior stakeholders on disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and other ER issues.
Oversee tribunal claims and settlement discussions, ensuring the organisation's position is protected.
Develop and implement policies, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practice.
Build strong relationships with managers, equipping them with the skills to handle ER issues confidently and proactively.
Analyse ER data and trends to shape people strategy and improve employee experience.
Play a key role in driving positive workplace culture, engagement, and wellbeing.
About You
CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent experience).
Significant experience managing complex ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, and restructures.
A solid understanding of UK employment law and its practical application.
Proven experience coaching and developing managers in ER best practice.
Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
