Prospero Teaching are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Tutors to support a growing number of young people in alternative provision across Bishop's Waltham. Our learners range from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Post-16, each with unique needs and strengths.

Experience working with young people in UK educational settings
A background in SEN, SEMH, EBSA, or trauma-informed practice
Tutors who are patient, adaptable, and resilient
Professionals who can build trusting, supportive relationships
Confidence in delivering core subjects (especially English and Maths)
As a Tutor, you will:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging sessions that meet the needs of students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
Record student progress and report on this weekly.
Be understanding, empathetic and patient.
Record attendance.
Be organised, dependable and creative.About you:

Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
Organised
Comfortable to support secondary aged pupils with English, Maths and possibly Science too.
Have experience of working with learners with SEN/SEMH needs.Position - Tutor

Hours - 15 per week- 3 hours per day.
Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience working within UK schools- ESSENTIAL
Experience of working with learners with SEN/SEMH needs
To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
