We're looking for a Welding Automation Engineer to join our team, supporting global customers and playing a key role in building cutting-edge automated welding systems at our plant in Irvine.
Responsibilities:
* Perform maintenance visits to existing and new customers across the globe.
* Deliver training on semi-automated and fully automatic MIG welding processes.
* Support the design, assembly, and testing of automated welding machines at our manufacturing facility.
* Assist in managing parts inventory and ensure smooth operations within the workshop.
* Serve as a technical advisor and hands-on engineer in both customer and manufacturing environments.
Qualifications:
* Solid experience in welding processes and welding equipment maintenance.
* Background in manufacturing, with knowledge of managing parts and inventory systems.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer literacy.
* A strong customer-first mindset with excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Culturally aware and able to adapt to working in different countries and environments.
* Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally at short notice (up to 30 weeks per year).
* Possession of a bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred.
* Meticulous in your work, and a critical eye for detail and procedure.
