About the Role
Seeking a high-performing and highly motivated Commercial Managerto spearhead growth across thePharma, Life Sciences, and Biotechsectors. This is a senior, strategically important role focused on building meaningful relationships, identifying high-value opportunities, and shaping major cleanroom projects.
This role is suited to a commercially sharp, self-starting individual with a proven ability to lead sales conversations and secure complex capital projects.
What Youll Be Doing
* New Business Generation: Proactively develop and close new business opportunities within Pharma, Life Sciences, and Biotech, with a focus on capital project delivery.
* Thought Leadership/ Industry EngagementPresentations, Workshops, Speaking at Conferences etc. Educating industry about our USPs and unique solutions.
* Relationship Building: Engage early with senior stakeholders, consultants, and influencers.
* Sector Presence: Represent the business across industry events, networks, and client meetings, helping to shape our presence and reputation in specialist sectors.
* Opportunity Leadership: Take ownership of opportunities from identification through to deal closure, working closely with our internal sales and marketing teams to craft compelling proposals.
* Collaboration & Insight: Work in tandem with senior leadership, contributing valuable market insights and helping refine our offer through commercial intelligence.
* Pipeline Ownership: Build and manage a healthy, focused sales pipeline aligned to strategic sector opportunities.
What Youll Bring
* A strong track record inwinning high-value capital projects(ideally £1m+), withincleanrooms,technical construction, orcritical environment infrastructure.
* Demonstrated experience in senior business development roles withinPharma,Life Sciences, orBiotechsectors.
* The ability to develop deep trust and long-term relationships with senior technical and commercial stakeholders.
* A self-starting, tenacious attitude combined with excellent commercial instincts and polished communication skills.
* A consultative sales style and a genuine interest in solving complex client challenges.
