Overview
Kenton Black are recruiting for a Site Agent (permanent) for a civil engineering contractor with works across the North of Scotland until 2032.
In your new role, reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will support management and coordination on various civil engineering projects. You will liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will assist in the preparation and review of project documentation, including contracts, specifications, and drawings. You will coordinate project schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks, communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. You will assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations.
Responsibilities
* Support management and coordination on civil engineering projects (roads, bulk excavations, marine, substations, roads windfarms).
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to meet project targets for time, budget, and quality.
* Assist in preparation and review of project documentation, including contracts, specifications, and drawings.
* Coordinate project schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
* Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Assist in preparation of project reports and presentations.
Qualifications
* Relevant management experience in civil engineering projects (roads, bulk excavations, marine, substations, roads windfarms) and/or qualified via site engineer route.
* CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid qualifications preferred.
* Willingness to relocate or work within the Highlands area (Monday–Friday).
