Job Title: Temporary Health and Social Care Lecturer

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Health and Social Care Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching on a temporary basis. This role involves supporting learners across a range of levels—typically from Level 1 to Level 5—within a college or training provider setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Health and Social Care
Teach across a variety of levels (e.g. BTEC, CACHE, NCFE, T-Levels) depending on experience and centre requirements
Assess learner progress through assignments, observations, and other methods
Provide support, feedback, and guidance to learners to help them achieve their qualifications
Ensure lessons meet awarding body and internal quality standards
Keep accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessments
Contribute to curriculum development and ongoing improvement
Maintain professional knowledge and keep up to date with industry developmentsRequirements:
Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, or Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training)
Relevant Health and Social Care qualification at Level 3 or above
Previous experience teaching in a further education or training setting
Strong knowledge of the health and social care sector, including current legislation and best practices
Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)What We Offer:
