We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Service Coordinator for our client a reputable mechanical company. The Service Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of our service operations. Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule maintenance, reactive work, and installations. Efficiently allocate resources and Engineers to ensure timely response and completion of tasks. Primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and internal teams. Effectively communicate service details, timelines, and updates to all stakeholders. Evaluate and prioritise breakdown requests based on urgency to met contract and customer expectations. Maintain accurate records of jobs, work orders, and client interactions in the company's database. Ensure documentation compliance for both internal reporting and client records. Monitor inventory levels of parts and equipment needed for repairs and maintenance. Liaising with suppliers to order parts and equipment. Collate and produce quotations for customers based on information feedback from engineers and manager. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to service delivery, such as response times, completion rates, and customer satisfaction. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Participate in training and development to enhance skills and knowledge within accounts particularly purchase and sales ledger. Qualifications Prior experience in service coordination, helpdesk, planning, or a related field preferred. Experience within the FM, Mechanical or Electrical industry is highly advantageous. Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with clients, engineers, and colleagues. Demonstrated aptitude for critical thinking and creative problem-solving in dynamic situations. Comfortable using computer software and systems for scheduling, data entry, and communication. Dedication to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining positive client relationships.
